I was tasked by the BBC Studios APAC team to produce a series of vector portraits of characters from acclaimed series ‘Dynasties‘, narrated by Sir David Attenborough. The illustrations were used as part of a media-pack specifically for the Chinese market, with the hero asset designed with environmental elements to be pulled apart and resized as needed. A tight turnaround with final assets delivered in one week. Creative direction by Natalie Horak.
The series takes views on a journey behind some of the most celebrated and endangered animals on the planet, following the stories of penguins, chimpanzees, lions, painted wolves, and tigers. Each of these animals is locked in a heroic struggle against the forces of nature and their rivals — they face harsh environmental conditions, dangerous predators, and even the greatest threat: humans. They actively seek to fight for their survival and the survival of their families — their dynasties.
